I see that this topic is not new and has not been done yet, it is totally necessary, please we cannot have a transparent place in the icon view that no one even knows what it is.

Yes please allow this. As otherwise we're forced to use reading mode as the site is invisible in grid mode without an icon.

Agreed. In the Microsoft world, half of their apps have the same icon.
